I have never been to a comedy show, and for some odd reason I was nervous. I was worried that I would not understand the humour or even laugh at all. However, the Comedy Club really put my worries to rest because at their most recent program called “Not Too Late to Start,” I simply couldn’t keep a straight face I was laughing so much!

All nestled in Sandy’s Bar, a couple dozen people gathered on Tuesday night to relieve the stress of impending deadlines with some laughing therapy. The night opened up with a relatively new comedian, Taye Cozine, who used her hometown experiences and family to break the ice with the audience. She brought laughter to the room whilst warning us of the dangers of a blue Prius and detailing her interesting relationship with kids. Though short, her opening act was able to warm up the room in preparation for the gut-laughter that was soon to come.

The main act, Tom Caruth, seemed quite comfortable onstage as he sauntered up to the microphone and lit the room with laughter through a show centred around self-improvement and self-evaluation. He was able to discuss delicate subjects with hilarious anecdotes and jokes. Along with the more serious topics of relationships and health, Tom kept the audience amused when he congratulated McDonalds on its 100% chicken and detailed his break-up coping mechanisms: Ru Paul’s Drag Race. He finished off the night with a final story about a “cubicle epiphany,” where in the midst of sickness, he was able to find a twenty-seconds bliss while he cleaned up after a “fart in disguise.” He commented that soiling yourself was similar to freezing to death; you think that it is all fine…and then you start to feel warm. On that note, the room exploded with smiles and laughter.

The night was simple yet quite amusing. Tom effortlessly kept the audience out of breath with his social commentary paired with personal stories, and of course, his jokes. Overall, the Comedy Club’s “Not Too Late to Start” Comedy program exceeded all of my expectations and certainly kept me laughing for a good hour.

    Hi all, got scammed by this website. Saw that there were a couple of post informing about this but just wanted to give more details
    Paid for the three day offer and with the confirmation of the subscription, got two mails from hornycontacts.com and loveaholics.com asking me to confirm my email. Didn’t pay attention and deleted them.
    I immediately canceled the subscription in flirt.com without any issue and on the last day it changed to a standard membership so since it was bs site, cancelled the account as well.
    So I was happy and watching a movie when I got an sms from my card provider telling me that I got a 71.78 euros charge from fry frtlsp.com. Never heard of them, so I called my card provider and cancelled my card and will request the return of the money as well.
    Then I realized that maybe these two websites also by some miracle signed me up to a paid subscription… so I logged in… had to recover the passwords because they were not the one I used in flirt.com… and surprise, loveaholics.com did signed me up for a paid subscription without me being aware (pretty sure that somewhere during the signing process in flirt there was something checked and didn’t pay attention.). So I had to cancel subscription and account in these two other sites.
    So, sorry for the long post but in summary…. do not use flirt.com at all!!!
    Yes, FLIRT.COM it is a scamming website. It sign you on multiple websites like askme4date.com . It bombard you with emails that you receive messages, and you need to pay to see them. After you pay you see the messages. All messages are from BOTS. No real person.
    It’s subscribing to automatic renewal and it’s hard to cancel renewal. They push you to a complicated scheme. I’m not even sure the renewal canceling works. After
