The Other Ball, hosted by St. Andrews’ premier A-capella group, The Other Guys, will be held on Saturday October 13th at Lower College Lawn. Tickets to the main dinner are available only through a private Fixr link, assuring that The Other Ball dinner is an intimate affair – a coming together of friends and family of ‘TOG’ and of TOG alumni in celebration of their 15th anniversary.
There will be a champagne reception, three-course meal, and of course musical performances from notorious crowd-pleasers The Other Guys. After-dinner tickets assure access to a musical lineup which includes an exclusive jazz performance with The Other Guys’ own George Kakas and a DJ that will carry you through the night.
The Other Guys are committed to working with the Fife community and promoting charitable causes through their performances. The proceeds from The Other Ball will go to support Heads Together, a charity that works around the U.K. to tackle negative stigma surrounding mental health – an organisation which St. Andrew’s own Prince William and Kate Middleton have worked with over the past year to raise attention for their mental health campaign.
This year, The Other Ball will be releasing a limited amount of afterparty tickets for students, with tickets released over the next few weeks via the Fixr link on Facebook. The event is guaranteed to sell out quickly, so Thomas Halverson from The Other Guys recommends you keep your eyes peeled for tickets and get ready for a night to remember.
The Other Ball will take place on Saturday, 13th October, from 6.30pm, with ticket sales starting on Friday the 28th of September.
