The Austrian Society Serves Up a Feast

Gillian Davies previews the upcoming Austrian Dinner.

It’s time to dust off your dirndls and lederhosen in preparation for Auf’tischt in Tracht. On Friday 11th November, the Austrian and South Tyrolean Society cordially invites you to dine looking like an Austrian at Bibi’s Café at 7 pm.

The inaugural event for the society, this is the perfect opportunity for networking between cultures and building bridges between people of similar backgrounds. The international culture of St Andrews draws students from around the world, so come out and meet the society and share in an exchange of culture and cuisine.

With a fabulous three-course meal planned for attendees, the night will fill your spirits and stomachs as you get to know the committee and learn about Austrian culture and traditions.

Check out the menu and see the spectacular dishes guests have to choose from:

There will be Austrian wine flowing throughout the dinner, but for those looking to drink life to the lees, it’s also byob (no spirits). Be sure to check out the event page and get one of the final tickets so you can dine in style.
