1. Starfields 2017

Who doesn’t love a good music festival? It’s the annual finale of Freshers’ Week – you’ll be recovering until Opening Ball in October.

2. Hot Dub Time Machine

Let’s be real, it’s the only notable Freshers’ Week event (unless you’re really into Britney Spears tribute acts). Hot Dub returns to St Andrews for what is sure to be a steamy night.

3. DONT WALK x Adamson Freshers Cocktail Evening

A free cocktail upon entry will start the evening on a high note. On Wednesday evening, the Don’t Walk Charity Fashion Show will takeover the Adamson (and, later, the Vic) for an evening of musical, boozy fun.

4. Asquire Presents: LAST EVER Throwback, Volume III

Freshers might not know his name, but the recently graduated Ashton Squires dominated the throwback genre during his time in St Andrews. After multiple farewell events, he’s back for one more tune on Friday at the Vic.

5. Welcome to the Bubble

Don’t expect to see many non-first years here, but Welcome to the Bubble is a yearly staple of Freshers’ Week. Third years are advised to stake out the Main Bar for easy adoptions.
