Starfields; that enigmatic event seemingly on everyone’s lips – confounding freshers yet to discover the week’s largest and most talked-about occasion.
The annual headlining event of Freshers, Starfields which sells out year after year, never fails to deliver on the promise of a classy yet casual celebration of fashion.
This year’s team are ‘hoping to push the boundaries of what is expected of student events’, and with headline act, the notorious Matoma, supported by Riton, Crazy Cousinz and Tigre DJ, we expect them to deliver once again.
For those as yet unaware, Starfields will be held on Lower College Lawn, one of St Andrews’ best-loved venues for outdoor festivities on the 14th of September. The lawn will, for one day only, be transformed into a micro-music festival, inspired by huge summer fests such as TRNSMT and Boom-town, but complete with classic St Andrews volatile weather.
This year’s Starfields promises to be like no other, with the expectation to ‘to rewrite what is anticipated at events’ – we look forward to enjoying the fruits of the team’s labour.
