Top Five Things to Do

The top five things to do this week, from October 24th-30th.

Post-Reading Week blues getting you down? Not to fear – prepare to plunge into a week of Halloween-inspired events, with your best costumes at the ready!

Pumpkin Carving, Tuesday 25th October at 3pm

Keen to get crafty this Halloween, but not so keen on all the mess? Head to Sandy’s on Tuesday for a pumpkin carving session hosted by On the Rocks and the Charities Campaign. For more information: rb.gy/bp04pn

DTF: The Flip Side with Macka, Wednesday 26th October at 10pm

Off the back of their Castle Sounds event at the end of September which highlighted a trio of up-and-coming Scottish DJs, Down to Funk is returning to throw the spotlight onto yet another musical talent. Glasgow-based Macka has played at the likes of La Cheetah, FLY Club and Riverside Festival and is sure to make a splash in St Andrews as he brings his set to the Vic. House of Horror: Alice in Wonderland, Saturday 29th October at 9:30pm

The ever-popular House of Horrors is back, this time re-locating from Kinkell Byre to Earlshall Castle. Promising to take attendees “down the rabbit hole”, this is a sure-fire way to start your Halloween weekend with a bang. For more information: rb.gy/ctf5d6

The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Saturday 29th October & Sunday 30th October at 8:30pm

If you’re on the hunt for a more low-key way to celebrate Halloween, St Andrews’ Musical Theatre Society is offering the perfect solution through their production of Rocky Horror. With dressing up encouraged, this is not one to miss! For more information: rb.gy/w9vavj

Siloween, Sunday 30th October at 10pm

Want to dance the night away into the early hours of All Hallows’ Eve? Not a problem – this event wraps up at 4am. After the success of their previous events hosted in a grain silo, Behave are once again taking Cupar by storm with their mixture of bass, techno and jungle. For more information: rb.gy/lmzkxe

  1. I just like the helpful info you supply to your articles. I will bookmark your blog and check again here frequently. I’m somewhat certain I’ll learn plenty of new stuff right right here! Best of luck for the following!

  2. I have not checked in here for some time because I thought it was getting boring, but the last few posts are great quality so I guess I’ll add you back to my everyday bloglist. You deserve it my friend 🙂

  3. Hiya! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My weblog looks weird when viewing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to correct this problem. If you have any recommendations, please share. Many thanks!|
